Due to major competition from Costco, Wal-Mart cut thousands of jobs in their Sam's club department. The store will lay off approximately 10,000 demonstrators and 1,200 membership recruiters. In-store demonstrators that were laid off can apply for a job with the subcontractor, Shopper Events.

Good to see these up here! Interesting, I had not really known the demonstrators were part of Sam's staff. Costco is driving some hard competition.
